While continuing his education through the Theological Education for Emerging Ministries (TEEM) program at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, our pastor, Andrew Hamblen, is serving OSL through a synodical appointment from the Northwest Intermountain Synod.

Andy has been a member of the OSL congregation for more than 10 years and feels blessed to be able to serve the congregation. While his Texas roots sometime come through, he has been a long-time resident of Southern Idaho along with his wife and three grown children.
When reflecting on how he came to this late in life career change, Andy offered Psalm 37:5 as his impetus - "Commit your way to the Lord; put your trust in the Lord, and see what God will do."
